A vote for Marqua means voting for someone who has lived in different places, experienced different communities, and can bring those lessons learned to our community.
I'm here to learn, enjoy, and grow!
I want to find out what the community wants for Greendale, why they love and enjoy living in our small town, and help put in place building blocks for Greendale's future. I attended listening sessions and heard:
- People want to feel like they live in a close knit community.
- Adding more local events was brought up throughout the listening sessions.
- Many neighbors spoke about how they enjoyed walking through Greendale and the parks.
- People want Greendale to stay the safe small town they love with a few more amenities.
A different perspective.
Living abroad and in Charleston gives me a new perspective that others who have only lived in one place may not have. I have seen that decisions made by few can sometimes affect the many. I want to build upon my past experiences and use them as a tool for the future.
